How We Influence the Impact Transitions Have in Our Lives

Tarra Judson Stariell, Local Trainer & LMFT Retired

Our language is replete with definitions for “transitions” along with advice on how to navigate them.  Transitions are the dynamic of change. I intend to discuss these known strategies as well as weave together the pertinence of incorporating what we know to be Bioenergetics, Quantum Physics, the study of the Mind and its plethora of ego defenses, and finally, how they all influence our ability to process and live in a world of constant change.
It is my hope that this presentation will offer you different perspectives on how to maintain peace of mind and remain psychologically balanced while facing transitions, whether we embrace or deny them.

Tarra Judson Stariell Certified Bioenergetic Therapist, Local Trainer (retired)

Tarra Judson Stariell is a retired licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with over 28 years of clinical experience. She is a certified EMDR II therapist, a Certified Bioenergetic Therapist (CBT) and has also been trained in Somatic Experiencing (SE).

Tarra believes that even the most negative of events offers potential for growth and development when we are given the opportunity to work through our emotional wounds within the safety and support of the therapeutic relationship. Through the exploration of one’s mind and the accompanying energies stored in the brain and body, healing is facilitated as the individual learns new tools and techniques that transform a negative experience into an opportunity to reclaim our full self-potential.
