Feeling Alive in Trying Times
"Feeling Alive in Trying Times”
Angela Klopstech, PhD., Dipl.Psych.
The workshop will address how to continue keeping our inner flame of energy, hope and creativity alive, particularly when life is tough. Bioenergetic Analysis provides a unique philosophy and toolbox for life situations, rocky and smooth. We already know the role that breathing and movement play in the maintenance of energy and feeling in our lives. Here we will specifically focus on the role that our individual rhythms of breathing, moving, thinking, speaking, acting and interacting play in regulating ourselves and our relations with the outside world of people, things and events.
The workshop will be theoretical, educational and experiential
Learning Objectives
Participants will be able to:
-Identify three ways how an individual rhythm can be disrupted
-Describe three connections between individual rhythm and mental and physical health issues
-Describe three differences between up-regulating and down-regulation
-List three examples of up regulation.
